The Kastom 200Ltrs Pressurized Flat Plate Solar Water Heater (Indirect Premium) is a high‑efficiency closed‑loop system designed for residential and commercial applications where mains water pressure is available. The indirect (closed‑loop) configuration uses a heat transfer fluid (glycol) that circulates through the flat plate collectors and transfers heat to the potable water via a heat exchanger inside the tank. This protects the system from freezing and corrosion, making it ideal for areas with cold winters or aggressive water.

Key features:

• Solar panel: All‑copper absorber with blue chrome selective coating – maximises solar absorption.
• Water tank: Diameter 470mm. Inner tank: 1.2mm SUS316 stainless steel (marine grade, excellent corrosion resistance). Outer tank: 0.21mm galvanised steel or optional SUS304 stainless steel with white paint.
• Insulation: High‑density polyurethane foam (Germany), 50mm thickness, 32kg/m³ – superior heat retention.
• Max working pressure: 0.6 Mpa (6 bar) – suitable for direct mains connection.
• Daily efficiency: >55% (62% in winter).
• Heat preservation: 72–80 hours – keeps water hot for 3+ days.
