It works by emitting 254nm UV light inside a sealed tube, damaging and destroying single-celled algae which cause green water. This clarifier will help clear existing green water and prevent it from coming back. The CUV ensures that swimming pool water will have amazing clarity by killing the single-cell algae that causes green water. All CUV units have been designed using the latest design technology to ensure water flows effectively within the unit, allowing the ultraviolet light to destroy the algae as it passes through. The CUV features a low energy electronic ballast fused with thermal overload protection and can withstand up to 4 Bar pressure.
